This is undoubtedly a pioneering achievement for the creation of mechanical movements with extraordinary complexity. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Tribute Gyrotourbillon watch inherits the style of the Hybrid Mechanica’s superbly complex watch series. It combines the craftsmanship and the outstanding design to show the extraordinary skills and creativity of the Jaeger-LeCoultre workshop.

This watch is equipped with a Jaeger-LeCoultre 179 manual winding mechanical movement independently developed by the watch factory, and is equipped with the new Gyrotourbillon® ball tourbillon. The tourbillon operates through an external transmission, presenting the wearer with a sense of suspension in the air, creating a light and pleasing spectacle. The two frames of the dual-axis flying tourbillon are simple in design. The rotation time of the outer and inner frames is 1 minute and 12.6 seconds, respectively. The semi-spherical hairspring of the mechanical movement is hand-made by the Jaeger-LeCoultre workshop. It requires extremely precise technical processes to complete this extremely difficult challenge, which astounds watch enthusiasts and connoisseurs who understand the subtleties. The delicate and unique hairspring is also a symbol of the master craftsmanship with the Gyrolab® balance. The latter is paired with the iconic pallet of the Jaeger-LeCoultre workshop. Its non-circular structure cleverly reduces friction with the air. A major breakthrough in the accuracy of the watch.
Rare Crafts (MÉTIERS RARES®) Perfectly Demonstrate DUO Dual Time Zone Design

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Tribute Gyrotourbillon watch has a white grainy decorative round dial above the front dial. It is paired with a blue crown-shaped steel pointer, which shows the classic refinement and exquisiteness of watchmaking. At 11 o’clock, there is an elegant day and night display function. The lower scale display ring runs synchronously with the Gyrotourbillon® ball tourbillon, and with its small blue arrow on the left, it depicts time in a visual form never seen before. The hand-made solar radiation guilloché pattern on the front dial highlights the exquisite craftsmanship of the Jaeger-LeCoultre workshop, contrasting with the ornate decoration of the frame.

Turning the Reverso series classic flip case, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon series tourbillon watch brings even more surprises to the wearer. The dial on the back shows the beauty of the Jaeger-LeCoultre workshop in a unique way. The fully skeletonized movement and the craftsman’s hand-crafted bridge add endless charm to the dial. The hollow-out process pursues exquisiteness, and such a delicate mechanical movement further increases the difficulty of production. The 2 o’clock position is equipped with a 24-hour day and night display function, and the tourbillon has a small second hand display. The time display in the second time zone and the Gyrotourbillon® ball tourbillon are presented on a well-organized skeleton movement, which makes the wearer happy.

By flipping the case, you can also see the slightly arched frame, which makes the watch easier to fit the wrist. The surface of the bezel is decorated with a guilloche pattern, and the round surface of the lower Gyrotourbillon® ball tourbillon is a unique sanding process, showing a gorgeous view of super complicated functions.

Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrates the 85th anniversary of the Reverso watch series with this ingenious masterpiece, interpreting classics with super complicated functions. The legendary Reverso watch series has been loved by watch enthusiasts since its introduction in 1931. The birth of this precious limited edition opened a new chapter in Reverso’s history with other wonderful things.
